Migratory storks resting in Norouzlou lagoon

Norouzlou lagoon in the city of Miandoab (Azarbaijan Province) has been hosting migratory storks in recent years.

Every spring, flocks of storks arrive in Norouzlou lagoon and people residing in the area welcome the birds.

Storks keep coming to the area every year because of the fine weather and nature surrounding the lagoon.

The birds make their nests on the roofs of the houses, on the trees, and on the electric light poles.
